Indian Road Safety Campaign, that is the road security effort of Solve, a trust begun by the trainees and alumni of IIT Delhi to fix the problems afflicting the society on the ground level.
IRSC (Solve) is the biggest youth-led organization working towards the mission of making Indian Roadways Safer, focusing on decreasing the number of deaths brought on by road mishaps throughout India by half till 2020. We are presently active in 50+ cities with over 1700+ volunteers and have actually impacted more than 1 crore individuals in throughout 10 states in India.
Indian Road Security Project in collaboration with Abhyuday, IIT Bombay and Ministry of Roadway Transport and Highways, Government of India presents Ideathon an online conceptualizing event to deal with one of the most important problems of current times- the existing roadway security scenario of our nation.
In accordance with its slogan “Think for more secure India”, the competitors lays focus on recommending ideas for Road safety related issues which often ends up being the reason behind deaths in Road Accidents and how to integrate those ideas to suppress those concerns.
The Ideathon Mega Event will last a fortnight: at first, participants would be required to include their ideas by means of reports and discussions on the online portal in accordance with guidelines and guidelines. Shortlisted prospects will then be called to IIT Bombay to participate in a panel discussion on ‘How Youth and Innovation Can Contribute to Roadway Safety’ and will be provided feedback on what they must be working on and how they must tackle it, by professionals.
Who can participate?
Any school student of 9 to 12 standard and any college trainee from all over India can participate and win prize money worth Rs 10,000.
