A man has died after he was hit by a falling pipe being unloaded from a truck, in an industrial workplace accident in the Darling Downs region.
The incident happened about 9.15am on Saturday at the Malduf Street worksite in Chinchilla, with Workplace Health and Safety Queensland investigating the death of the 36-year-old worker.

The Queensland Police Service and Queensland Ambulance Service were called to the scene, however the man died from his injuries and WH&S took the lead on the investigation.
It is understood a forklift was unloading the large pipe from the truck when it fell and hit the worker.
