A man has been taken to hospital in serious condition after a fall at a Gold Coast construction site on Monday morning.
The 35-year-old worker fell at the site on Lakefront Crescent at Varsity Lakes just after 7am, suffering multiple lower limb fractures.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital with multiple serious injuries.
Workplace Health and Safety had taken the lead on the investigation and had an inspector at the scene throughout the day.
Nine News reported the man had to be resuscitated by colleagues after falling 20 metres, through scaffolding and onto concrete below.
